Fantastic support so far for my public art project Chromamunity (10,000 sq ft of exuberant outside-the-lines color!)
The project is scaled to create a feeling of post-pandemic joy, as well as awe & wonder — like the an earthbound aurora borealis…
Contributions have been flowing in from Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, London, and all across Canada - Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, St. John’s, Fort Saskatchewan, Prince Edward County…
The artwork, officially approved by the City of Toronto, is to created with a mix of funding from everyday individuals — so far, teachers, health practictioners, students, doctors, architects, collectors etc — and larger donations from foundations, organizations, patron groups and corporations.
